About Me

My name is Russell Smith. I'm a New York lawyer who outsourced himself to India. I've practiced law, mostly in the media and intellectual property fields, for over twenty years. I once worked for the biggest law firm in New York, as well as the smallest, and a couple in between. Because of dissatisfaction with the way law is practiced in the West, and I guess because I'm an incurable idealist, I helped form a different kind of law firm, SmithDehn LLP, and a high-end legal outsourcing company in India, SDD Global Solutions.
